We were thinking about purchasing some solar panel products for our house a year ago. The only issue was the amount. The lowest priced system we found was close to 15 thousand dollars. It could have taken us years to recoup that amount of money. Anyway, we came across these directions for making your own solar panels. We ended up going that way. It saved us quite a bit of dollars, and the totally free, efficient power is great! :) We power several of our kitchen appliances off this grid.
